Fer Cosa Fora (lit. "Make thing outside") was a creative group I joined during its early stages, when we were discussing the name, when we were dialoguing based on readings proposed by Oriol Ocaña (An independent curator, thinker and the theoretical supervisor of my college final project), who was included in the set up of the first expo by the group.
After that, we had multiple gatherings. Due to the disorientation I was feeling at the time, my lack of commitment and my traveling back and forth from Japan, I did not fit in the group for the next steps. I was partially involved in the development of the project "Fer coses amb les coses" (lit. "Make things with things "), but that was the only materialization that I took part into. It was a muddy time in my development process but it was also a very significant moment after finishing university as it showed me the possibility of saying and doing something without the need to "fit in".
I am grateful and admire the people with whom the group was formed, even if it doesn't exist anymore and each of us is now drifting on its own path.
