06/2019

I went to Berlin to shake up my professional identity. This city offers the spatial extension to free yourself and make you more capable of creating.

The dense movement of the trees from the window, the distant music of big parties looming in the morning, the burning sun on the streets, the smell of the little strawberry stands and the lime trees are those nuances that accompanied me during all that month.

I better explored the phenomenon of olfactory art by visiting the Sissel Tolaas exhibition and discovering the Smell LAB project.

Also I walk this extended city – as I always do – and one evening, in a Prenzlauer Berg cemetery, I reminded a deeply rooted feeling that flooded me years ago in Chelsea, London. Thoughts about the inevitable losses in our lives, gardening as a interesting mourning process and the time-bounded materiality of our bodies as part of the nature.
